Dear Students and Parents,
Mind Wars provides a platform for students to access knowledge presented in the form of short quizzes that seek to challenge three aspects:
a) Curriculum 4000+ questions on Social Studies and General Science
b) General Knowledge 8000+ questions on more than 500 topics
c) Current Affairs with daily updates and weekly quizzes.
Parents can register on Mind Wars through the Zee5 App, and students can attempt as many quizzes as they want. Once registered, students can play quizzes on a computer/ tablet/ smartphone, anytime, anywhere.

2. Step 2: Click on the ‘Mind Wars’ icon on the home page.
3. Step 3: Use the school code and fill in the simple registration form. (a maximum of two children
can be registered on the same phone)

[29-April-2019] Retirement of Principal
A special programme was held in school on Saturday 27th April to mark the retirement of our principal Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur.
The celebrations began with shabad and welcoming Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur and family at the school gates and escorting them to the Stage.
We all then proceeded to the stage and welcomed our President Mrs Amrit Kaur Ruprah, Secretary Sardar N.S. Ruprah Cashier Navtej Singh Ruprah and Former Principal Mrs Tandon and welcomed everyone to this special event to mark the retirement of Principal. Guests included former colleagues now retired, members of the Management and Mrs. Paramjeet's family and some close friends.
The School Choir, and the group of teachers entertained us with a favourite song of Mrs. Paramjeet. Management and Principal Mrs Meera Pillay ,HM Miss Harvinder Kaur and senior teachers shared their memories with Principal.
Mrs. Paramjeet spoke about her work as teacher since 1977 and principal since 2003 and given good wishes to the school.
Thank You for being such a great principal! We will miss you! We wish you a long healthy and happy retirement.
[30-April-2019] Summer Holidays and School Reopen
Summer holidays declared from 1st May 2019 to 16th June 2019. School will be reopen from 17th June 2019.
[12-04-2019] Ram Navmi Holiday
The final day of the nine-day long period of Chaitra Navratri is celebrated as Ram Navami. The day is considered auspicious as it marks Lord Ram’s birthday.Ram Navami is on April 13,2019, which is a holiday for School.

New session has started with great energetic environment and 80% attendence of students.Beginning of New Session in Full Bloom. The beginning of a new session is always an auspicious time - a time for new hopes and renewed dreams. After the examination fever, it's the time to enter the school with new energy and fresh new vibes.
[02-APR-2019] Paramjeet Seeks Blessings for Meera Pillay
In a brief but solemn before the school Gurudwara held at 1.30 p.m. today, ARDAS was done by Sardar Dilip Singh ji on behalf of Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, Principal to thank Waheguru for her career in the school as UDT from July 1977 to 2003 and Principal from 2003 till date .
The blessings of Almighty were also sought by the whole staff for the Mrs. Meera Naidu who is going to take over as Principal in the place of Mrs. Paramjeet. Mrs. Meera Naidu bowed before Shri Guru Granth Sahab ji and accepted the responsibility in all humility.
A lull of silence prevailed in the gathering pondering as to how the atmosphere will be after Mrs. Paramjeet would leave at the end of the month only to be pierced by encouraging words of Mrs. Paramjeet that she is very much with the school throughout her life.
The occassion was also graced by the management of the school namely Sikh Education Society by the attendance of Mrs. Amrit Ruprah Advocate, President, Narinderpal Singh Ruprah Adv Secretary, and Navtej Singh Ruprah Advocate, Treasurer.

Result of Session 2018-19 will be declare on 29-Mar-2019 and school will be reopen for session 2019-20 from 08-April-2019.School timing for new session will be 8.00 am to 1.00 pm
[02-Jan-2019] Mrs. Amrit Ruprah new President
Senior member of the Nirman Mandal, Er. Inderpal Singh Ruprah proposed the name of Mrs. Amrit Kaur Ruprah as the new President in an emergent meeting held on 2nd Jan 2019 and she was unanimously elected as the President. Mrs. Amrit Ruprah is the younger daughter-in-law of Late Mrs. Avtar Ruprah and wife of Narinderpal Singh Ruprah. She did her schooling from St. Joseph Convent Ranjhi, BA. from Govt. Home Science College and LL.B. from RDVV. She topped the University in LL.B.
She is renowned advocate practicing in the High Court of M.P. and is considered to be last word in many branches of law.
Taking over as the new President, she remarked, "I am no match to the dedication, knowledge and experience of Mrs. Avtar Ruprah but with her blessings, Sikh Education Society shall continue its educational mission with double vigour so as to fulfill the dreams of the architect of this movement, Late Sardar Hari Singh Ruprah Sr. Advocte"
[30-Dec-2018] Mrs. Avtar Ruprah passes away
Mrs. Avtar Ruprah passed away for her heavenly above at 2.14 A.M. on 30.12.2018. She was 86. Mrs. Ruprah was the founder Principal of the school which post she occupied till Dec 1994. She was the President of the managing society (Sikh Education Society) from Dec 2011 till her death. She was born on 13.12.1932 in Jamshedpur in the house of Sardar Bishan Singh Dhanjal. She did her schooling from D.M. Madan School and college education from Patna Women's College from where she did her M.A. (Philosophy) and Dip.in.Ed. She is survived by sons, Inderpal, Narinderpal, and daughter Manjeet as well their spouses and children. Mrs. Ruprah lived the life of an ascetic and dedicated her full only to the cause of education. In her childhood and youth, she had the company of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and many other luminaries. Under her leadership, Sikh Education Society opened Hari Singh Ruprah Arts, Commerce and Law College. Her death has come as blow to her family as also to the institutions run under her leadership.

[15-08-2018] Independence Day Celebration
Independence Day is celebrated at School with fervour. Mrs Paramjeet Kaur, Principal of the school, welcomed the gathering. Honourable Secretary Sardar N. S. Ruprah spoke about the significance of the historic day, and urged the students to become model citizens.
Various cultural programmes were conducted with the aim of developing the leadership qualities of children. The function concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.

[06-Jan-2019] Annual Function-2018-19
Cantonment Khalsa Higher Secendary School celebrated its Annual Day on Saturday 5th January 2019 amidst great zest and vibrancy. Mr. Rajendra Tiwari Advocate General of M.P was the esteemed Chief Guest .Mr. Ram Mohan Tiwari DEO JBP was the Special Guest. Sardar Inderpal Singh Ruprah (Mandleshwar Sikh Edu Society) presided over the function.Among other dignitaries present were Treasurer Mrs Amrit Kaur Ruprah, Secretary Sardar N. S. Ruprah, Principal Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, Head Mistress Miss Harvinder Kaur, Staff, Principals of various schools, , press, parents and students.
Many Cultural Programmes were performed by students starting with Welcome Song,Sarswati Vandna, African Dance, Rajasthani Dance, Mime ,Bhihu Dance, Fashion Show , Drama, Kawwali and Bhangra.
The Chief Guest stated that he was very happy to note that school motivates its students by felicitating them. He advised students never to forget their school, which makes them what they are and their parents who make relentless efforts for them to be educated and groomed in a school like Cantt Khalsa and feel proud on their children’s achievements.
[24-Nov-2018] Gurunanak Milan Samaroh-2018-19
Gurunanak Milan Samaroh was organised on 24 Nov 2018 in the school premises. In the presence of Chief Guest , Management and other guest this was programme successfully accomplished with the cooperation of Principal and Staff. Students of sikh schools had participed in different programmes and competition like Shabad, Lecture, Essay and Quiz.

In the occasion of Diwali school will remain close from 05-NOV-2018 to 10-NOV-2018.
[04-08-2018] Foundation Day
Foundation Day of the Cantt Khalsa School was held today to seek blessings of the almighty for the new session 2018-19. Shabad Kirtan was recited on the occasion by the students.
Secretary Sir urged students to follow the path of self-righteousness and never to deviate from the chosen path of truth.
Keeping in view, the declining moral values in the present society, Secretary Sir stressed on the need to follow the teachings of the Sikh Gurus in our day to day life. He also highlighted the achievements of the schools and motivated the students to strive for excellence in all academic as well as extracurricular activities.
[21-07-2018] Oath Ceremony
On 21th July 2018 the School Captain Shakshi Benefer, the Vice Captain Kirti along with other leaders of the school took an oath to uphold the name and valued tradition of Cantt Khalsa English Med School.
After the oath, our respected Principal Mrs Paramjeet Kaur, H.M. Miss Harvinder Kaur and All Staff, conferred the badges to all the newly appointed leaders.
We wish them all the best and hope that they attend to their duties with diligence.
